I’m Rudy Fleminger. I’m a guy who likes making things with computers. By day, I work on websites and applications.
When night falls… well, I still work on websites and applications— but also
2D and 3D graphics and other creative endeavors. On the weekend, you’ll find me at yard sales,
rescuing odd vintage ephemera before the world forgets all about it.

Okay, but why bring politics into it?
The whole concept came about in the early 2000s. I was just out of school and looking for work in the graphic design industry. A young designer competing against everyone else who’d been dropped onto the industry that year, I needed a campaign that would be unique, memorable, and one that’d let me use my newly-purchased button maker to produce some great promotional swag. Enter “Vote Rudy Fleminger for Employment”. My resume was adorned with red, white and blue, and every one came with a stylish campaign button.
Of course, now I’ve retired the theme. There’s plenty more résumé on my résumé these days so I don’t need to lean on schtick and showmanship. However, the name is still snappy and raises the odd eyebrow, and voterudy.org still makes a great place to park my email.
How did you make this site, anyway?
COLOPHON: This site was drawn up in Adobe Illustrator, coded
in WebStorm and compiled using the Astro static site generator.
Owen Earl made the Jost typeface that all the titles use and Paul Renner made
the Futura typeface that Jost was clearly based on. The Mozilla Foundation commissioned and Typotheque designed the
Zilla Slab typeface used for the body copy,
and Google Fonts hosts all the fonts. The logotype is custom-designed type made in Adobe
Illustrator and hand-tweaked for SVG special effects. The site is Copyright 2026 by Rudy Fleminger. All rights are
